You are paged into a production system you did not write. Something is wrong. The traces, logs and metrics are real output from a running simulation — nothing is highlighted for you, because finding it is the exercise. Read the telemetry, prove a diagnosis, ship a fix, and see whether it holds.

Scored on how fast you localised it, whether you could prove it or only guessed, and what you broke on the way. Restarting everything until it works scores badly even when it works.
